It would be sad if some features were locked FOREVER behind the premium subscription
Maybe premium users could get access to features three months before free users or something like that

throwawayexperimentationMaybe put a donation button under the premium button in the side bar; that way, there is still an avenue to get money even if all premium features eventually become free.

Devon AdminThey basically already do this (ex. quests, multiplayer)

LickitySplitSome premium features might indeed have to be premium forever - who do you think pays for the cost of expensive complex cloud AI processing? If we don't pay them, why is it fair to expect them to pay it for us, if we didn't earn it somehow?

AsIf that happens it will not be a good thing, currently so it seems that the developer has Premium and patreon as the main source of income, if the resources were made available after a time Many people would prefer to wait for the resources to be made available for free making the developer have an absurd drop in the network.

dream_seekerDevs need to eat also. The amazing gift AI is, I have no issue giving 10 bucks a month in appreciation and I'm low wage on low hours. Its well worth it to me and helps the devs be able to do more with the program.

bruhthey already did this with experimental worlds. some features should become free after a while but not all of them

Devon AdminHeres generally what they do:
New features(not improvements on old features) start on premium
If they are expensive(like dragon) they stay on premium
Otherwise they move to free users after a while
There are some notable exceptions like length and randomness. -

StrongpointI wonder if Dragon will ever become available for non-premiums, perhaps with way higher energy cost than Griffin.

モンキーIt's "done", but why are length or randomness still premium features?
