things like "does world info entry has a 1000 character limit?" "how exactly does quest effect game play and AI's performance? (does AI focus its output around the quest?)"

ZorxTom MergedYES! I hate seeing people suggest "pls fix this. the ai keeps saying the wrong name for my character" and stuff like that when its just a word predictor; it doesn't know lore or story or anything. It just thinks "yes, these words go together" and it puts them together. I would definitely do multiple upvotes if I could.

JeanneIt might also be nice to have more documentation available about how World Info works (what it can/can't be used for) and scripts for those that are interested. Maybe something like a closed Wiki for how the AI dungeon 'ticks'.

JeremyI think it's not worth the time investment for them yet, until they get at least 12 of the major systems they have listed as being worked on in place as their AI thought methods are so subject to change. Then yeah it would be nice, and not as much of a insurmountable pile of clarifications that would require constant updating and often be misleading when forgotten. @.@

LLu MergedI would really appreciate it if there was a full, thought-out guide to creating custom scenarios. FAQ don't cover all the question someone might have. Things like a thorough list of commands would be nice. All the functions of each feature, and how to properly utilize them. A guide to help users understand the AI.
We can't use this incredible idea if we don't know how to use it. I would spend money for a highly-developed AI if I can't figure out the basic.
I believe people really need it, and -

MI think what this suggestion should be that the developer make a concise list of what the AI grabs for creating a new response. This could be a simple addition to the FAQ on this very website. Also differentiate between free and paid versions. There is a lot of conflicting information on this floating around on the web.
Users would be able to easily note changes this way as well.
It wouldn't be how the AI chooses a response, but EXACTLY what text is considered when formulating one. -

Zoochspecifically for me, I still don't perfectly understand how to format stuff in the 'remember' section, do I use first person or third person when talking about my character? I think it'd be nice to have some examples shown.

BigluluI asked a question in Discord regarding how WI keys worked. This sparked a discussion among multiple people who each gave their own interpretation on how the mechanic works. People tried to experiment, and in the end the answer was still somewhat unclear. Create a clear documentation on how every mechanic works precisely, and how to best use every feature.

ShasarakDocumentation is like sex, in that even a small amount of bad documentation is vastly superior to no documentation at all.
